We are proud to provide financial support to the following
wonderful local community organisations
The Auburn unit was one of 60 teams chosen out of over 1500 applicants to complete in the Red Bull Billy cart race in 2015. The team have created a Flood Boat themed Billy Cart that will tear down the hill at break neck speeds, all to help promote the NSW SES along with the Flood safe message “If its Flooded, Forget it” The team have also created a series of short video’s that can be seen on the Auburn Unit Facebook page, depicting our team responding to a flood rescue in the Billy Cart. We were very proud to be able to support this great effort!
Club President Jim Morgan attending the Waterfall Rural Fire Brigade Open Day held in September 2015. Brigade Captain Peter Kneale presented Jim with a certificate of thanks for the club’s generosity in providing funding for two new state of the art fire fighting nozzles. Waterfall Rural Fire Brigade is a volunteer organisation and this support will go a long way towards keeping their fire fighters and the community safer during what is expected to be a long, hot summer.
